Can you define Special Needs?
What does “Special Needs” mean to you?
Ask five friends and you will get five different answers. To some, it may mean a learning or physical disability. To others, it couldmean a specific diagnosis such as Autism or Down Syndrome; andthe list goes on. Being a special needs caretaker doesn’t comewith a handbook. That’s why the Special Needs Expo was created.
We connect families with local, helpful resources they may haveotherwise not known existed. Whether you are taking care of yourself, caring for a child or adult, if it’s a mental, learning, or physical disability, we are here to provide you with local resources and support.
